apologies for publishing this on Bandcamp Friday - not sure why, but it makes me a bit embarrassed and I usually try to avoid it - I follow about a million musos and so every day like today means that I get about 999,999 emails and just about the only muso who doesn't bother my inbox is me - but today, here I am - such a dent in my desperation to appear aloof and cool and different and indifferent and niche and cultish - but hang on, it's more than me usually avoiding Bandcamp Friday that makes me look desperate and alone and a word that's similar to cultish, it's got more to do with the fact that deargod listen to it it's something that only I could possibly like, and one day when I get round to stop making music and actually start listening to it I'll let the world know if I do like it or if it's all been a total fucking waste of time.

Oh of course it's a waste of time, everything is, everything else that I know of is even more of a waste of time, I bowed out of a chance to meet up with a couple of friends today because, well, at best most encounters are merely boring, it's a positive mercy when they're not painful, and yet pottering about the house alone is usually a couple of steps up from being boring - even when it is boring here it's not as boring as out there - so that is why and how this album exists - and I did lie a bit because I have sort of heard the first three tracks and I like them all, especially the first two though I should've turned the volume up a bit more on the second one and I'll have to leave that to you, if there ever is a "you" - so I've finally done a Bandcamp Friday - I still feel I'm several thousand albums short of having a Listening Party, and when we do, you and I, this might be the thing that we find spinning on the turntable the following morning as we vow Never Again.
